International Study Opportunities
MBA students are encouraged to participate in the Study Abroad and Travel programs through the Spears School of Business. International travel broadens a student’s knowledge of the world around them and the global economy. They gain first-hand knowledge of different cultures and methods of business; gain business contacts for future internships and employments; and they add value to their skill-set with the diversity of their experiences.
Students have travels to locations around the world visiting companies and cultural sites, meeting with local officials and business leaders, and doing ‘tourist stuff.’ To date, students have had the opportunity to visit Mexico and Chile; travel to Europe for stops in England, France and Italy; see exotic locales like Thailand and Vietnam in the Far East; and the African continent with a trip to South Africa.
If you’re curious, meet with your advisor to discuss your plan of study and see how study abroad can work for you. Watch for Study Abroad information sessions to learn more about what could be one of the most memorable educational experiences of your life.
